What are microgreens?
Microgreens are vegetable greens harvested just after the cotyledon leaves have developed with one set of true leaves. Used as a visual, flavor and texture enhancement, microgreens can add sweetness and spiciness to foods and are nutritionally dense for their size.
How We Grow: Indoor Urban Farming
Scout’s Sprouts uses powerful LED grow lights to complete our microgreen grow cycles after their “black out” period. Spending anywhere from 4-10 days under light, our greens produce uniformly and safely in a 24/7 controlled climate.
